Copy non-blank rows from a list/table to another location

    Hi,

I need a macro that will take the nonblank, nonzero rows out of a list and copy/paste them to another location, basically like the advanced filter option except that it automatically updates when data is changed and doesn't also copy row headers, etc. Essentially I need to take a 200-ish row table which updates often but in which no more than 20-25 rows are ever non-blank and edit it such that when I put new data into the table, all the useful (i.e. nonblank) data is immediately copied over to a smaller, 20-ish row table for easy, concise display.

    Thanks so much
    SJB

    Why use a macro?

This can easily be done with native formulae.

Add/delete data in Sheet1 to see the result in Sheet2.

Drag C2 across and down to change the table size, the helper can be hidden with the grouping button.

Well...I thought that would do the trick anyways, but apparently not. Unfortunately I actually need to repeat this process 3 times in the same column, and seeing as my original table contains roughly 15 blank rows on average betwen each nonblank row, having a "helper column" is prohibitively large. Appreciate the help; any other ideas?

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.
A second sheet should show the expected result i.e. Sheet1 = Before, Sheet2 = After.

Actually, think I've figured out a way around that. I'm going to wait until I actually have the sheet fully as I want it before I mark this thing solved, but I think it is.
