Help! Remove numbers and all chars to left of the numbers.

Hi, I am new to this forum and am sure someone will be able to help.

I have data that may contain numbers mid string like "Sub454 85Mitchell". In this all I want to keep is "Mitchell". I tried using the Right function but with my lack of knowladge in this area I have had no luck.

I would like a UDF but am happy with anything that works.

do you know how many letters to the left you need to have left, or will it vary depending on where the numeric is?

It will vary as you have said.

The text is a street name so will vary as well. Also The only constant is that I need to keep all text to the righ of the last number, everything else will vary greatly.

Here you go:

New quick method:
Select Thread Tools (above first post on page) -> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

Or you can use this way:
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word "Title" you will see a dropdown with the words "No prefix".
Change to "Solved"
Click Save
