Need some quick help if i can get it on a simple VBA script.
Was handed this project yesterday and due in by tonight.
have 2 spreadsheets:
Spreadsheet 1
Name | Zip Code
Joe | 77123
Tom | 77234
Paul | 77345
Spreadsheet 2
Zip Code | Location
77123 | Texas
77234 | Utah
77345 | Kansas
I need to create a FORM for the user to select 2 or more names from Spreadsheet 1;
When the name is selected, the zip code will be looked up in Spreadsheet 2 and the information pasted into a new spreadsheet, see below
Spreadsheet 3
Name | Zip Code | Location
Joe | 77123 | Texas
Paul | 77345 | Kansas
and so on.
this is very simple using vlookups in the Spreadsheets, but the request is for a USER FORM.
I can create the form but cannot figure out the VBA script to accomplish this task.
If anyone has a similar script I can look at, or is there a very simplified script i can see to get started on this one.
