The hovering hand for a Command button: how to get it?

Is it possible to change the Properties of a Command button so that it gets the 'hand' when the cursor hovers over the button?

I have changed the properties - but all I seem to be able to get are things like arrows or the timer.

(The hand appears automatically for Macro related buttons).

    I am using Excel 2003.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Cros,

It's a two step process. First, in the properties of the commandbutton, find the MousePointer property, and set it to fmMousePointerCustom (99). Next, find MouseIcon, click the box to select an icon, and browse to the Cursors on your computer (usually, somewhere like C:/Windows/Cursors), then select the one you like.

    Does this help?

BigBas, this works perfectly, except that no matter what icon I choose, the color is inverted (the hand is black instead of white). Mouse behavior is normal everywhere else, including everywhere else in Excel...

Soooo are you asking a question, or commenting that the suggestion worked for you?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Won't this work better with the hover over command?
