Help: Copy/link data from one sheet to another based on conditions

Hi, I'm new to this forum and with no vba background. I need to have a functionally simple fixed asset register that can show active and disposed assets.

Need your help on how to copy/link data from a main sheet to another sheet based on grouping and status conditions. I have prepared an Excel sample file with explanation Notes in red color, Trigger data in blue color. Main sheets are in yellow fill color, Other destination sheets have no color and Disposal destination sheet is in red fill color. I hope the explanation in the sheets are sufficient enough.

Your help is much needed and highly appreciated!

Do you want the movement of rows to happen when the value is changed to Disposed? Or will you update all the values and then click a button for the movement?

You want a cut-paste to be done right? and not a copy paste?

    Hi arlu1201,

Thanks for the reply. Your query/suggestion on clicking a button to update Disposed items is better as it will give user a chance to re-check before movement of cell values... thank you.

Yes, Disposed items should be cut and paste.

    Appreciate much,

Cell G10 of the Computers sheet has this comment - " <<-- Auto add row with Status drop-down menu after every last entry "

Should the macro do anything regarding this?

Also, most of your sheets have red colored comments in them, do you want all to be part of 1 macro or multiple small macros?

Hi, please disregard auto-add row. User will just have to manually add rows.

I hope I can explain sufficiently, as follows:
In the Computers sheet, user will key in Group, FAA, Desc, Date and Amount. Status is a list with default value 'Active'. When user adds rows, the Status column in the row will show 'Active' although the other columns are still blank.

When user keys-in a value in Group column, all the contents in that row will populate to Computers-Group A sheet if condition is meet, or to Computers-Group B and so on. Maybe the movement can be done by clicking a button 'Update' which will also be the same button to trigger movement of row when status is changed to 'Disposed'.

To sum up, only values under Group column and Status column will trigger movement of row content to applicable destination sheets. And movement will take effect after clicking button Update.

    Hope the above helps.

    Appreciate much,
    Norvelle
