Countif between two workbooks!

Hi,

I have two workbooks, wbook1.xlsx and wbook2.xslx.
I would like to count the occurrence of the words “aple”, “kiwi” and “cherry” in column X in wbook1.xlsx, i.e. = COUNTIF(X:X, “aple”)
So to the challenging part, I would so like to copy the COUNTIF result into specific columns in wbook2.xslx.

I need a macro or a neat formula to perform this task - Please help!
