How to perform following steps with the help of excel macro.

Step 1. First, I want to give choice to user which template to choose from a particular folder, this I can do with "Data Validation" option in Excel.

Step 2. on the basis of choice made, excel will take appropriate word doc from a folder

Step 3. There should not be any changes in this word doc, excel will create a new word doc, that is a copy of this word doc taken from the folder.

Step 4. There are some fields empty in the word doc, where we will put information or update the existing information by providing it in cells in Excel.

Step 5. Now there is a choice given to user again using data validation to call another word doc from a different folder and append this word doc at the bottom of the above created word doc.

This is what I want to do...

I am just a beginner for macros.. Please help me with appropriate weblinks, where I can learn it.
