Template for Gantt Chart??

Hi Everyone,

This is my first Post so go gentle if I have posted in the wrong place!!

I have trawled the internet for a template of a gantt chart for use at work, i have found alot of them use what seems to be an excel base?? Im hoping that a programming pro has a template I could learn from as I would never be able to do such a thing from scratch! Can anyone help me please?
