Allow to Select Only 1 Cell from Drop List in a Section of a Row.

I have a session from 9.00am to 9.30am containing 3 subjects - AA, BB & CC, and another session from 9.30am to 10am containing another 3 subjects - DD, EE & FF.

Each person can only choose one out of the 3 subjects for that session between 9.00 to 9.30am, using a drop-list of value 1 to indicate selection. I do allow making changes, so referring to the attached, if Frank changes from AA to BB, I just need to select the drop-list value in BB to 1, and value in AA will be removed automatically.

The same goes for the next session, only one subject per person. How do I achieve that using macro? Thanks.

PS: I have very basic knowledge about macro.

    Thanks.

The input must be 1, just wanting to limit the input by user, therefore a preferred use of Drop-List.

Hoping for a macro version for an automated deletion after selection. Do you think it's possible?

i understood what the file is for What i meant with "this is no macro though" is that in the file which I've attached, there's no macro - just data validation that allows only 1 entry.

I'm really sorry Bishonen, for misunderstanding what you meant. I realised it after testing your file more thoroughly, and thank you for helping me promptly.

I'm still hoping for a macro solution however. Hope someone could help.
