Can I Hide Shapes That Are Buttons???

I have 4 shapes which have macros assigned to them - to act like buttons. 2 manipulate odd sequences and 2 manipulate even sequences.
There is a cell (D11) which has 3 letters and a number after them (e.g ABC9).
What i would like to achieve - is hide the 2 buttons that relate to odd numbers if the number in D11 is Even - and vice versa.

Im not sure if this is achievable - and i cant find anything on here that is close.

    Regards

    Craig

    Sure -
Name each shape by using the name dropdown to the left of the formula bar as follows:
    Shape1, Shape3, Shape5 etc. for odds
    Shape2, Shape2, Shape6 etc. for evens

Use this procedure to hide shapes on sheet1 (tweak for the name of the sheet the shapes reside on)

Thanks for your response, but it fails on the third line. I have changed the "Sheet1" to the actual name of the Sheet which is Main.
But it still fails at this point.

Does it matter that D11 is a value from a vlookup......
