workaround - missing Microsoft Powerpoint 14.0 Object Library

I have a macro that convert the entire excel workbook into ppt. This macro works well in excel 2010, but not 2007. When I look under the References in VBA project, I see that the "Microsoft Powerpoint 14.0 Object library" is missing. Thus, the macro will not work. In the list of available references, I do see "Microsoft Powerpoint 12.0 Object library". I tried to use 12.0 instead of 14.0, however macro still will not work.

So, I am wondering if there is a workaround to use this macro (attached) in excel 2007? I would appreciate any advise. Thank you!

On my platform the code appears to work in Excel 2007 with the Microsoft Powerpoint 12.0 Object library.
