    Open New VBA Window

What is the easiest way when you're viewing Code to open a new VBA window so that you can compare code, copy/paste etc. ???

The VBA editor works very similar to Windows. Please see the picture.

When you double-click on modules to view them, they pop up as a new window in the right pane on top of the last window you were viewing.

You can click on the "Restore Window" button in the upper right corner just to the right of the "Type a question for help" box.

In my picture I have two windows open, one for the module Sheet3, the other for the module Module1. I can easily move back and forth between the two.

    Hope that helps.

    Re: Open New VBA Window

That's the way I would think that it would work, but it doesn't for me. When I go to View/Macro/edit and open the Sub I want to see it will replace the other one that I had open. I don't see an obvious way from within the VBA window to open a new window without closing the one I'm viewing.

Window > Cascade (or Tile, or select the window of interest)
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
