    Delete some characters

I need an excel macro that will delete special letters.

    A2 - 1001,1,"Kasse Filiale",5,100,A become A2 - 1001 B2- Kasse Filiale
    A3 - 1002,1,"Ladenkasse",5,100 become A3 - 1002 B3 - Ladenkasse
    A4 - 1010,1,"Postkonto 80-144697-5",5,101,A become A4 - 1010 B4 - Postkonto
    ...

I have 420 rows like this.

    Thank you

I don't understand what you are talking about.

Number of rows shouldn't matter.... or do you have 420 different words to be deleted?

    Re: Delete some characters

This type of problem is never as simple as the original posting suggests.

What is the rule for splitting "Postkonto 80-144697-5"?

See if this gives you a start

    Re: Delete some characters

Assuming you want the first number in the string, and only the alpha string found between the brackets (no numbers), then try this workbook.
The helper column can be hidden, or the formula can be combined with that in Column D by substituting C2.

    [EDIT]
    Improved formula in D2 Down
