Combine Sheets From All Files In A Directory

Hi Guys,

I am using the very common code attached below in order to combine data from a series of sheets into one work sheet. I have got the macro working fine, however there is a small error. Whenever it adds the data of a worksheet to the "new work sheet " it seems to add blank rows. I have scanned this code for hours and cannot understand why it is adding blank rows after each 'append'. I was wondering if someone could give me a solution.
