Red face Need a macro that determines range values, then copies and pastes the cells from the range

Ok. so I asked a question and I got an answer, but I'm pretty sure I asked the wrong question....
I have attached a file to help explain what I want to do.

So : In sheet called "ADT" there is a column labelled "Element" and one labelled "Performance Criteria"

In Sheet called "Coversheet" there is a cell that lists the "unitcode" (B18)

In the sheet called "units" there exists information in the following format:
    spreadsheet.jpg

So, I want the macro to get the value "unitcode" in "coversheet" find it in "units", then take the data from elements and performance criteria columns and paste it in those columns in "ADT", but obviously, only the rows that relate to that unit.

I have tried a number of different things, even got it working yesterday, but accidently deleted the macro as I'd saved it in the wrong workbook... Using If then loops to look up the data, then check if the cell below is empty and if it is get the value as well. but its gone...

So now I'm taking an altogether different approach. Use the known data to specify a range and then copy and paste that range. Worried I might run into issues as the paste area is a different format... but havent even got it far enough to have that problem.

Here's what I've been working on:
