    ADD IN to covert all text to general or all general to text

    I am looking for an add in for excel to convert a whole workbooks cell formats from one format to another. Thank You for your help in advance.

    Click on the name of your first tab (Sheet1, or whatever you may have renamed it to) then hold down SHIFT and click on the tab of your last sheet. This will select all of the sheets in your workbook.

    Then, on the first sheet, click on the box above row label '1', next to column label 'A'. This will highlight all of the cells on that sheet.

    Then choose the format you want.

    Since you had all sheets selected, the change occurs on all of them.
