    Speed Up Automated Pivot Filter

    Hello,

This is my first time posting, so I apologize if I am re-posting, or doing some other stupid noob thing; however....

I have setup several options (buttons) within a workbook that will auto filter a corresponding pivot table to only show the relavant information for that button. The filters work great, but the problem is as more data in collected, the filtering process becomes exponentially slower. Is there a way to tweak my coding to create a faster filter? I noticed that as it filters it shows that Excel is "calculating" as it decisions each line item. I wasn't sure if there was some way to alter that calculation process or change my methodology altogether.

The basis for the filter code is to filter for apples and oranges, but de-select all other items:

I'd be open to completely changing the coding of filtering methodology if anyone has any advice...
