Formatting a list exported from SharePoint

I have exported a list from SharePoint to Excel yet everytime I refresh the List it looses the formating. I am currently writing a macro to reformat the List as it refreshes but need to add borders around every cell in the list without selecting cells outside of the list. Is there a piece of code which will allow me to select all the cells within the list without selecting the rest of the sheet?
