How do I lock a button so users cannot edit it?

I'm very new to VBA. I've created a connection to a SQL Server view which gives me a list of data rows in Excel and a button which refreshes the data. Can someone tell me how can I lock the button so the users of the spreadsheet can't edit it?
    Many thanks.

    Password protect the sheet.
