I have not seen any help on this - is there anyone out there that can help me.
Thank you!
Well where is the pdf saved? will it always be on the users desktop - what if it isn't there?
It will be saved on any users desktop - so If I active the PDF button i should have the option to save it on my desktop. If you active the PDF button you should be able to save it on your desktop, etc... for any user.
Well where does this pdf come from?
are you opening an existing pdf file or saving a new one? your question implies both
Josie
if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
Not sure if I am answering the question correctly. But from the excel. I have a workbook that has four different sheets of reports that are generated from a main sheet of data. On the main sheet of data I would like a button that says Create a PDF. Once they click this button it four different PDF open up on the users desktop. They can then save the PDF file on their desktop.
Hope that made sense.
So you want to export your sheets to PDF at the click of a button?
Will all your users have Excel 2010 installed?
Yes, i would want any user who uses the workbook to be able to export only the four sheet that has been updated with new data to a pdf.
Will all your users have Excel 2010 installed
Not necessarily -but if it is required for this to work I can make sure its done that way.
Will you be able to help? Is there anything you need for me to attach?
Thank you.
I am still looking for help on this - anyone out there!
