    open and print file .pdf

    Hi

I am new to excel and I am trying to create a macro that will open a hyperlink to a pdf file and print it. The hyperlink is manually added by the user to column D

I have the below that opens the files in column d but I can not get it to print. Any advice will be much appreciated

Hi, try this in a module. It will open and print a pdf. Change the paths as needed and/or create a variable for the file name.

If that does not work for you, have a look here in this older post:

    Hi

I have added the below code. This opens my pdf reader when ran however it is not selecting the files or printing them. I am unfamiliar with how to make a variable for the file name. My file names / hyper links are in column D in the format C:\Users\Mags\Desktop\back.pdf

You might try to attach a sample workbook so people can see what you need to do. I see you posted the same question twice so you will need to remove that post or it will be deleted by a forum Admin.
