Red face Macro to analyze the data

    Hi all

I'm quite strugling with raw data.

Would anyone be able to help me to create some macro to see the following?

    - To create one tab for each language
    - In those tabs to see 10 top call drivers ( column "Case Issue") Example, if I have issue Battery life, want to see as well for which affected product and component.

    PLease excuse my english

I may have 60 000 rows of data.

    Thank you,
    Andy

    Hi dobracik,

This looks like a simple Pivot Table with the Language as a filter and do counts on what you want to see. You might even do a Pivot Chart and display what is the most frequent question/problem. See http://www-td.fnal.gov/Office2007/Ex...sAndCharts.pdf

Re: Macro to analyze the data

    Hi Marvin,

actually, I would need to have the macro, becuase need to see top 10 drivers only ( component issues) out of thousand of rows, with the percentage of the pie. The poin is, that in each tab need to find 10 drivers and for which affected product and component call was made.

I'm using Mac and in there I cant sort the data from highest to the owest in pivot table, Therefore only macro will help me a lot.

I was trying to have it in pivot tables, but in the end was nightmare to prepare this. If anyone is able to help me, will be more than happy.

    Thanks,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

I don't think the Mac version has VBA until 2011 version.

Pivot Tables can sort by count from high to low. Post an example with a few hundred rows and I can show you how. Or watch http://www.contextures.com/xlVideos10.html that shows how to get the top 10 filtered.
