Question finding uninterrupted group of cells containg data - like autoSUM

I have found that my autoSUBTOTAL macro has a flaw.
If you use the AutoSUM feature, it will choose a range of the uninterrupted group of cells containing data above(or to the left of) the active cell.

My macro treats subtotals as a part of the uninterrupted group of cells, so the first time I use the autoSubtotal I am fine, but the next one includes the previous group, so I need to manually adjust. Any ideas, folks?
