Macro to make URLs Live In Worksheets

I have many worksheets in workbooks that contain http:// (URLs) always found somewhere in column A and need macro to search through worksheets and activate/make links live. Thanks in advance for help

Quickly I only came up with this workaround:

What is does:
Insert new column to the left of column A.
Checks each cell in column B if it contains "http://"
And if it does it makes a link to that url in new column A.
The loop require to have no empty cells in column B as the loop stops at first empty cell.

Anyone else might come with a better solution. But perhaps it would help you on the way?
