copy and paste data by comparing columns

    Hi everyone,

I have been trying to piece together codes that i have found in the forum to build a macro, but havent had any luck. So i decided its time for help and post what im trying to build. Thanks for the help.

I need help building a macro that will do the following:

open files that are in a seprate folder
go down the list of the master file and look for the same values on the file sheet.
copy the data on the same row where the values are the same, and paste data master file.
save and move file to another subfolder named "complete" so it wont be used again.

Uisng the attachements, the macro will start by looking for B001 and Item 1 on the file. If it finds it on the file, it will copy specific data on the same row and paste it on the master. If it doesnt find B001/Item 1 it will move on and look for the next and so on...The order will be diferent on each file, so one can start with B001/Item 1 and the the other can start with B003/Item 2. The only thing that will be the same for the master and the file is that the list will start on row 2.

The attachements show which columns are being compared, and the master attachement shows where the data of the file is to be placed on the master.
