    Can't Properly Link Data in Linked Table Between Access and Excel

    I have a table in Access 2003 that is linked with a sheet in Excel 2010. It is only one column of data, and the I currently am populating that Excel column based on VBA code that automatically converts every cell to number format. However, some of these cells have letters in the string though it is still stored as a number. When I open this linked table in Access, the cells that have letters in them create "#Num!" errors in the Access database but not the Excel database. Is there a workaround for this issue? Thanks.
