How can I use an Add-In when run off of a server?

    Hello,

For excel 2007 I have written an Add-in (xlam) file on my local machine and it runs fine. It is called from a .xls file that is a template and used in an application. The template is stored on a web server and is called from a .net web application. When I run the .net web app the template is found on the web server but the template looks for the xlam file on my local machine and finds it. However, if another user runs the web app it can't find the xlam file even though I placed it in the folder on the web server along with the template.

How can I point the reference in the template on the web server to use the xlam file that sits with it on the server?

Basically to sum it up, the template that sits on the server tries to use the reference back to the C:/user/lcw... path. I need it to point to the path where it sits on the server which would be like d:/excel/template/Add_In.xlam

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks

    Lee

I guess a better way to put it would be is what is the best way to link or reference a add-in file on the web server to the users local PC excel file?
