Create Variable for Column

I created a formula that determines the MAX date for each row and places it in column EA. I want to create a variable to reference column EA, but am not sure how. I want to do this so I can use the variable in other functions. The data starts in row 2, and there is no title cell, so I cannot use the Match function.
