Creating a single click option for accessing large database

    Hello everybody,

I have a database of around 105 equipments. Since, this is a large database, I am thinking of merging them in a single file .Moreover, i want to create a drop down menu or say a search option where if you enter the equipment number you are directly routed to that file.Being a beginner in Excel, I don't know how to create it. Please post suggestions.

If they are all in a single file where would you be routing the user to when they enter the equipment number?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

Let me clarify again.. I will first create a workbook with 105 worksheets. Each worksheet will be named as a distinctive Equipment no. such as P-01, P-02 etc. Then, I want to add a single worksheet where search option will be created. Let me know, if you want any further clarifications.

Can't you use what I posted?
