hi all , i have a workbook , on which many sheets are their , sheet one is a master sheet on which a drop down list is their containing a list as "PHO" ,"cho", "dho", "nho", and has a command button on it ,workbook has sheets named "PHO" ,"cho", "dho", "nho", need a macro as user selects "PHO" from drop down list , after selecting PHO from list , when user clicks on command button , sheet named PHO gets opend, same process for "cho", "dho", "nho" as well. please help
There you go, but I added a button instead of making it auto go there. Assumed your cell with the values from the drop down is in "A1"

list box is not in cell its located in between cell9 and 10
it is a list box on the master sheet
Try the attached WorkBook. It does not need a Button to select Sheet. It also demonstrates some other Hiding and Password features as well.

I believe it is a work-around, but it will get you going for now: Sheet Solution.xlsm
If you have a "List Box" from control, try right clicking, Format Control and in my example add D2 as the Cell Link. Then add the =VLOOKUP(D2,A2:B4,2,FALSE) in the Selection Cell and run the following Macro:
