    Macro - Conditional Formatting

I need help writing a Macro that will do a form of conditional formatting.
I have a column which is "Date Due" and a column which is "Date Received"
I need excel to enter some text into a cell, if 5 or more "Dates Received" are later than the Date due. Is there a macro to do this?

    Hello KateMaz
    Welcome to the forum.
    Yes all possible.
Post up an example worksheet with a bit more explanation and any constraints and someone will assist.

    Re: Macro - Conditional Formatting

    Hi Barry,

Thanks for your response. Please see attached the example worksheet that I have done.
The conditional formatting is in column H , what I need is a macro that identifies that when 5 or more dates in column H are red (due to that they we have received funds late) the text in the grey box that spans columns J,K,L & M to read "Payment Terms Need Reviewing" and if this criteria hasn't been met "Payment Terms OK".

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need more information!

    Thank you so much!

    Best regards,
    Kate

    Re: Macro - Conditional Formatting

    Hi Kate/nilem
Looks like a simple and neat solution.
If there are likely to be more entries added to the data, be mindful to increase the range of the SUMPRODUCT function.
If this is good please mark the thread as SOLVED - well done both.
