Saving range of cells in a PDF format using a button on excel worksheet

    Hi guys,

I am currently using an excel worksheet to generate a quote for my clients. And I have a 'PRINT' button the the worksheet that enables me to print out a specific range of cells in the worksheet (QUOTE).

Now, I am wondering if It is possible to create another button 'QUOTE' which will enable me to save the range of cells in the worksheet in a PDF format and store the copy in a folder named 'CUSTOMER QUOTE'. And also generate quote number for each qutoe file?

Please see attahed the excel sample file below.

    Any idea or suggestion?

    Thanks,

Hi rcm, thanks for the posting. I've tried the file you've attached above and it gives me a run-time error with the following statement 'Path not Found'.

I want to save the pdf using the following path: "C:\users\jin\Desktop\Quote" and hopefully save the pdf file with a name on the cell 'J9' in the worksheet. Perhaps adding the the following code?

    Is it doable? Thanks rcm

I modified the macro with your line and it works fine.
My default path is C:\users\...\documents so it might be better to specify explicitly a path name.
