Problem searching Access Database between two dates

I hate for my first post to be a question but I am at my wits end. I've got a userform that searches an Access database based on the criteria selected and creates charts and/or graphs depicting the final results of the search. I'm currently working in Excel 2007, but ensuring everything works in 2010 also.

The following lines were copied from the debugger.

This line returns everything fine, creating all of the charts and graphs it needs to:

But this line errors out with a "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" on a bogus line of code:

    I've even tried:

Does anyone have any ideas, hints, tips, tricks or funny faces that will get me past this point?

    Thanks in advance.

Several hours spent trying things and still no closer. I wonder if it is a bug in excel, both 2007 and 2010. I'll keep looking.

Unless I'm missing something your first 2 lines of code are identical. The error you're getting isn't related to SQL, it's something in your excel code, can you post the actual code you are using?

Re: Problem searching Access Database between two dates

The only difference between the first two lines of code was the end date in the search string. The search criteria stayed the same for both searches, everything from the table, except the end date to search.

As for posting the code, I'm not against it, but I doubt anyone would want to read through that much code to help, this is a huge project. This project has taken several semi-automated spreadsheets, user database input, database management and database creation tools and rolled them all into one userform.

The funny thing is, it works fine today. I guess I just needed to reboot and it was my computer.

    Thanks.
