Macro to change date value from one date format to another date format

Hi,

My requirement is to have a generic macro which converts a date value from one date format to another date format.
date format is not specific. We may have data which may exist in different date formats.
source date format and target date format may vary.
Please help.

This requirement is quite easy. you just need to create a macro and let users input the format say =text(a1,"dd-mm-yy")

If you are new to macros, the easiest way is to record a macro; run through the spreadsheets steps you want to do. Stop recording. Then edit the generated macro code.
