Macro or rule to color fill an entire row based on successive dates within data

Hi all- I've been working at this for a few days and haven't been able to find a suitable solution, so I am coming to the experts.

For my job I receive an Excel workbook every morning with a list of upcoming appointments- the list is updated daily and resent to a large group of users. The data set includes a large portion of information that is unnecessary to me. I have had success creating a macro that eliminates that data and orders the remaining pertinent information in successive order by date.

What I want to do now is automate the process of color filling each row based on the date of the appointment: January 19 = red, January 20= orange, etc. I created a rule to do just that, using Conditional Formatting, but it only fills the cells with the date- I'd like it to fill the entire row.

    Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Here's screen shots showing what I'm after if that helps. One is the list after I run my sorting Macro- the second is after I've manually filled the columns based on the dates in column P.

Anything other info I can offer for assistance, let me know. Thanks.

I attached a copy of my workbook both before I ran my sorting Macro and after. I'm not sure if it will or would make a difference when the date based filling takes place. The end goal is the sorted list, with the date based color filling. How I get there makes no difference to me.
