Open multiple dated text files and import dated data specified in file name

Hello,

Is it possible for Excel/VBA to open multiple text files and export the data with specific dates only and save as csv?

All text files are in the same directory.
All text files have the same column names.
All text files have the same number of columns.

Text Files:
text_file_20130118 (only rows with date 1/18 in column AA need to be exported out)
text_file_20130119 (only rows with date 1/19 in column AA need to be exported out)
text_file_20130120 (only rows with date 1/20 in column AA need to be exported out)
text_file_20130121 (only rows with date 1/21 in column AA need to be exported out)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
