Automatically revise Table of Contents list when worksheet is hidden

I have a workbook with multiple worksheets. Some of these worksheets remain in the final printing, others do not. In order to simplify final printing, I am hiding the worksheets that will not be printed. I am looking for a formula, macro, whatever, that will automatically remove the worksheet name fromt eh Table of Contents when that particular worksheet is hidden. So far, I cannot get Excel to recognise if the worksheet is hidden or not.

Re: Automatically revise Table of Contents list when worksheet is hidden

I'm sure it is not the most efficient means to solving this problem but, I created a macro. I assigned the macro to a command button. When the macro is activated, the worksheet appears (unhides). The macro then navigates to the Table of Contents where the text is revised to list the new worksheet. I then created a second macro, assigned it to a separate command button, which removes the worksheet and revises the Table of Contents accordingly.
