Import from 2nd workbook to specific worksheet

I have a large Excel (2010) workbook with several (75+) worksheets. Each sheet stores the data for a separate "event". Other worksheets in the workbook keep totals from all events. I would like to be able to create a small workbook that consists of only 1 sheet (one "event") that I can use to collect the data for a single event. Then I would like to be able to import the collected data from the small workbook (single event) into the correct worksheet in the large workbook that corresponds to that event. When initiating the import process, I want to be able to designate which specific sheet (event) in the large workbook the data is to be imported to. Ideally, it would be a macro in the large workbook that I could run, which would prompt me to select the name of the source workbook (small) as well as the name of the target worksheet in the large workbook. The cell ranges to be imported would be static.

The large workbook is too large and too complex (formulas) for any of the "Excel apps" on iOS or Android. So I would like to create a simple, data-collection-only Excel file that I could easily run on my iOS/Android device for mobile data collection and then import the data into the "main" workbook as described above. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

You have described what you would like to see and it all sounds very doable and logical. Would you be able to design the data-collection-only Excel workbook, and post of a copy of that as well as a copy of the emptied master workbook. It would not be that complex to develop/write
