Auto-fill Date when text is entered in another cell

Hello, I have a simple form for workers to fill out for each project. One section is for them to report issues/problems that prevent them from moving forward, and assigning who is the owner for resolving the issue/problem.
I do not want them to be able to select a date in the past, claiming they reported it before they actually did.
Attached is a pic of the section.
When text is entered in Cells B33 through B53. I'd like for the current date to be automatically filled in the same row but in column H,
So, text entered in B34, then the current date is filled in H34.

Additionally these dates need to be kept. I would not like for these dates to change. For example we would not like the dates to get updated to the current date when the document is opened.

Could anyone help me with this please?

EDIT: added xls of what I need, so you can test solution Auto-Fill Date.xls

    That didn't work.
When I entered text into any cell within B33-B53. The date did not autofill in H33-H53.

I added the file to the OP if you would like to test it.

It did't work because there are merged cells in there.

Thank you very much Henry. I was able to use that (had to change the offset from 6 to 1, but it worked.) And I was able to change the range in case I need to do that. Happy with that as well.

I had a feeling this would be the case, thank you for your insight.

Thank you for your help with this I really appreciate it. I'm also looking for a way to prevent those dates from being changed. I'm going to look into the protection settings to see if that will facilitate that. (I've not locked a xls before)

Again, thank you very much, this solved my problem.
