Can't get out of Developer Mode on Excel 2010

I'm trying to create radio buttons using the activex controls. I can't get out of the developer mode to see if the buttons are working.

I want the buttons to click on and off when selected.

Did you click the "Design Mode" on the "Developer Tab"? What happens?

When I click in the Developer tab, I can modify the properties of the radio button but then, I can't get out of the Developer Mode to test the results.

I figured out how to turn off the Design mode, duh. But, I still can't make the radio buttons click on and off. I'm new to the forum so I hope I'm not violating the rules.

There are many, many other ways to do that. The attachment may help. Other members probably have better suggestions/advice. If you need it, you should start a new thread to get others eyes on the problem.
