    Thumbs up =IF(G:G="Bob Johnson") then add all corresponding cells in E and place sum of in Data!D18

    Anytime that a "specific value" (in this example, Bob Johnson) exists in BigLog!G:G, then add all corresponding cells in E and place sum in Data!D18

    Column E Column G
    $55,000 Bob Johnson
    $15,000 John Doe
    $45,000 Jason Johnson
    $30,000 Bob Johnson
    $10,000 Bob Johnson

    I'd like a formula to find that Bob Johnson turned in a bid for $55,000, $30,000 and $10,000 add those up and place the same of $95,000 in Data!D18
    I've attached a sample of what I'm trying to do. Thanks for all help!!!

    hi shelton_4, you don't need VBA for this. try this formula in D18:
    =SUMIF(BidLog!$G$5:$G$13,C18,BidLog!$E$5:$E$13)

    you can change the range 5:13 to something bigger.

    Have a look at SUMIF()
    e.g. in Data!D18.Drag/Fill Down
    Formula: copy to clipboard
