showing pictures depending on value

i have a value in AD1 ranging from 1 to 5, what i would like is if the value is 3 then 3 identical pictures show up, if the value is 4 then 4 identical pictures show up. could this be done with code. i will have other pictures dependent on the value of AD1 if this can be done ie 14 identical pictures show up if 5 is selected.

what i am creating is a level (1-5) with different items available and quantity available depending on the level.

i assume no body has any help on this one. i know this forum is so busy and things get moved on to page 2 and 3 wquite quickly, so hopefully as this will go back to page 1 i might get some info. if not i will let it slip away.
