Macro - Open one file then close another

I have an excel file, abc.xlsm, which is open and I want to open another file, xyz,xlsm, then close abc.xlsm.

Can anyone assist with a macro to accomplish this process? Thanks

Hi

Try this:

abc.xlsm

xyz.xlsm

Open file abc. then open xyz.

How could I do this if the first file abc.xlsm could change? Meaning, I don't know what the name of this file could be, but, when I open the other file, xyz.xlsm, I want the other file, to then be active, close it, and then have the xyz.xlsm to stay open?
