Inventory Update Using Excel

So for abstract purposes you have 2 columns: UPC, Inventory Quantity

What i need to do is simple.

Once I scan a UPC code, I need it to go straight to the corresponding row where the Inventory Quantity cell is for that UPC. Which then I can change the value of the inventory cell Quantity to what i need it to be. Now this is the catch, I need to do this without using CTRL+F on the UPC column to go to that corresponding row because that would be tedious to do for 1000+ products.

So again to simplify further I need a non tedious way to do the following procedure:

Scan UPC
Find Corresponding inventory cell
Change Cell Value Manually to what I want.
