copying and pasting as picture is white?

this is some code i have in a macro.
its intent is to copy a table (M28:P32) onto a graph. If a table is already present it will remove it beforehand.
as code on its own, this works as intended but when i put it inside a much bigger macro that im using instead of copying the table it copies a blank white box instead (the same size though)
it appears as though it is selecting the range but not picking up the content within for some reason, im not sure what the reason is but im wondering if anyone might know what the problem is...

i am unable to post the code for a few reasons: its company policy, its huge in size and its only on my work machine which cant access this site at the moment.

can anyone think of a reason that it does this?

the reasons could be behind chart selecting/activating (im not too sure on the difference between select and activate) or worksheet or sheet selecting, but the focus isnt able to pick up any cell value.

does anyone have any suggestions with what to look for?
