Workbook Save Problem - Excel VBA

Hi, I have a big problem, I saved a lot of work i did (On 'Userforms 'and 'VBA' commands and other college work) as a normal excel workbook. I thought i saved it as A macro enabled workbook but i unfortunately didn't. Is there any way i could get all my codes and stuff back even though it wont show up for me at all now ? Thank you.

Hi you could try opening your spreadsheet, click on file, then click on info, at the bottom is a versions button, click on that to see if your earlier spreadsheet is shown

Thanks for the reply but no luck , It was just my luck i wasnt paying attention and the stuff was very important. I doubt there is a way to recover it. Just wanted to see if there was a way !
