Macros not working in a protected workbook

I have a workbook that I have protected because of users trying to make changes. I am unable to run the macros when the workbook is protected, but I can run the macros when the worksheet is unprotected. Any help with trying to protect the macros, but still letting users use the macros. TIA.

Some more details would have been helpful - but have you looked into the UserInterfaceOnly parameter of the Protect method...?
