Creating a Macro that will automatically pull data from a new spreed sheet.

For work I get new spreed sheets emailed to me every day, with data from the previous day on how each employee did. What I need to do with them is pull certain data and save it to a different spreed sheet for each employee. Someone told me that I could probably get a micro to automatically pull the data I need as soon as I save it. Oh yeah and I save it as the date each day, i.e mar-25. If someone could please help me write a code for this it would be great. If you need anymore information let me know what you need and I can get it. Sorry if what I am saying is not clear I am new to this.
