copy text from a source workbook to target workbook

    Dear Moderator,

Can someone please help me with a macro. I have a source workbook and a target workbook. The workbooks contain patient first and last names and other information. Each patient has his own row in the workbooks. The source workbook is a list of patient names; each name is exists only once because it is a master list containing patient numbers 1 to .... . The Target workbook contains all patient visits over a number of years; so an individual patient will be listed many times. I need to complete the target work with information from the source workbook. I need to do two things. 1) enter a "T" for every patient that required a certain procedure; patient first and last names are in separate cells and I need to use both names as parameters(but also need to use only the last name if need; perhaps I can change the code myself for this.), ie find the first and last name in the Target workbook that matches the first and last name in the source workbook for patients requiring procedure T. A separate group of patients need a procedure "W". 2) I need to copy the first and last name from the source workbook into the target workbook using their patient Id as the common identifier.
I have included a sample of the source workbook and target workbook. The names have been changed to protect the patients.

    Sincerely,

    Andrew

Your question is not very clear. Actually your sample source and destination data dont match so its tough to understand what you want to be done.
