Strange Unremovable Worksheet Objects in VBE

I have a workbook that, for some reason, would not open successfully on any computers running Excel 2007 (but worked fine on 2010 and 2013) so I had to extract the data using the built-in function in Excel and start over. Now, in the extracted data workbook's VBE, there are multiple objects which appear to be worksheet objects but have the icon that I have only ever seen on workbook objects and the Remove option is greyed out on the menu. I have attached a screenshot. The workbook actually has only nine worksheets. I have never seen this before. Does anyone have an explanation or a suggestion on how to get rid of the sheets? Thank you. EXAMPLE.jpg

Re: Strange Unremovable Worksheet Objects in VBE

When I try to run a macro on the weird object to unprotect it, I get the following error:

    Run-time error '429':
    ActiveX component can't create object

Also, when I click on the objects and view the properties in the Properties window, it shows me the properties of an additional ThisWorkbook object called ThisWorkbook1 which contains no code.
